Property	Description
Tab Basics
Title	Title of your web page. Title can be inserted in the content of your web page through a component and is used within several list formats. List is a component you can insert in your content. Title is NOT used as title property in the browser (<title> tag). Use the web page property Web title for that purpose.
Identifier	Identifier which is used in the URL of your web page. The URL of a web page is important for Google indexing. Therefore you can control the identifier when you create a new web page. After the web page has been saved, the property cannot be changed anymore.
Identifier prefix	Include Put the in the settings document configured prefix in front of the identifier. Exclude Don't use any prefix.
Identifier suffix	Include Append the in the settings document configured suffix to the the identifier. Exclude Don't use any suffix.
Language	Language that is used in the URL of your web page. After the web page has been saved, the property cannot be changed anymore.
Web address	Web address is the URL of your web page. For exisiting web pages, the propery is calculated. You cannot edit it. For new pages you can control it by changing the identifier and click on the button Calculate webaddress. Then it shows you the URL of your web page the moment you save it.
Related menu item	Categorizes your web page within your site navigation.
Menu item link	Check this option if you want to connect a web page directly to the related menu item. What is the impact of that? Visitors of you website will see this web page directly after they click on the applicable menu item.
Description	Description of your web page. Description can be inserted in the content of your web page through a component and is used within several list formats. A list is a component you can insert in your content. Description is NOT used as meta description (<meta name="description" content="">). Use the web page property Meta description for that purpose.
Page image	Can be used as visual identifier of your web page in lists. A list is a component you can insert in your content.
Include in these lists	You can put your web page in one or more lists. These lists can be displayed in the other web pages. A list is a component you can insert in your content. Imagine you have news topics. For each news topic you create a seperate page. On your homepage you want to have a list of all news topics. Then put all news topics in the list News items via the property Include in these lists. On your homepage insert the list called News items. You can select lists from a picklist showing all current lists or you enter the name of a new list.
Tags	You tag a web page if you want to filter a list that contains a collection of web pages. Imagine you have a list with archived news topics of 2007, 2008 and 2009. There's a page containing a list with all archived news topics. You can control this list by creating a tag cloud. The tag cloud is fed with tags of all current web pages in the list. Then if you click on the tag 2007, you see only archived news topics of 2007. Via the attribute Tags you tag web pages with one or more tags. You can select tags from a picklist showing all current tags or you enter a new tag.
Publication date	Publication date of your web page. Not necessarily equal to last edit date. You control the publication date of your web page for display in lists. Imagine a list of news topics. The most recent should be on top. You control that with the publication date of a page and sort your list on publication date descendingly.
Content owner	Owner of the web page content. Can be displayed in lists.
Tab Online period
Online period	For web pages you can choose to set an online period or not. An online period means that published web pages are only published if today's date lies within the online period (start and end date). Web pages that are expired will automatically be archived. Web pages that are waiting for publishing will automatically be published when today�s date is equal to the start date. The default setting for new web pages (online period, yes or no?) is configured in the settings document.
Start date	The start date for the online period.
End date	The end date for the online period.
Tab Security
Access	Defines whether the web page should be visible for all visitors of your web site or only for a restricted group of people.
Access groups	Select the groups of people you want to grant read access to your web page.
Authors of this page	Depending on the status of the web page, the author (creator) has rights to edit a web page. Here you find more info on that under Publish cycle of web pages. The property Authors of this page is used to grant edit access to other authors that did not create this web page.
Additional authors	Select the authors you want to grant edit access to this web page.
Tab Google search
Web title	The web title of your web page used by Google indexing to identify and rank your web page. Web title is included in the <title> tag within the <head> section of your web page.
Meta description	Meta description is included in the <meta name="description" content=""> tag located in the <head> section of your web page. Google indexing uses meta description for ranking and search results summary.
Meta keywords	Meta keywords are included in the <meta name="keywords" content=""> tag located in the <head> section of your web page. Google indexing uses meta keywords for ranking.
Index	Let robots index this page Include this web page in the index of search engines like Google. Prevent robots from indexing this page Do NOT include this web page in the index of search engines like Google.
Follow links	Let robots follow links on this page Let search engines like Google try to index links on this web page also. Prevent robots from following links on this page Don't let search engines like Google index links on this web page.
Sitemap.xml	Include in sitemap.xml only if this page is directly related to site navigation By default all pages that are directly triggered from a menu item are included in the sitemap.xml. Force inclusion in sitemap.xml In case this web page is not directly triggered from a menu item, but you still think it's important enough to include it in the sitemap.xml, choose this option. Sitemap.xml is a file that is processed by search engines like Google. These search engines retrieve important information about the importancy, change frequency and last modified date of web pages. By delivering search engines like Google this information, you have more control on your Google rankings.
Change frequency	Select the expected change frequency of this page.
Sitemap.xml priority	Enter a priority from 0.00 to 1.00.
Tab History
History	Keeps track of the last twenty save moments including date, time and author.

Action	Description
Save	Saves the web page and leaves it to the user for further editing. Not applicable for non-editors.
Save and close	Saves the web page and closes it. Not applicable for non-editors.
Save conflict as non-conflict	Saves the web page as a non conflict. For more info on save conflicts, click here. Not applicable for non-editors.
Preview	Previews the web page in a seperate browser window. Changes made since the last save will not be visible in the preview. Not applicable for new pages that have not been saved before.
Save and preview	Saves the web page and previews the web page in a seperate browser window. The preview is fully up to date. Not applicable for non-editors.
Save, close, preview	Saves the web page, closes it and previews the web page in a seperate browser window. The preview is fully up to date. Not applicable for non-editors.
Preview page in other languages	Select one or more languages to have this page previewed in alternative languages.
Workflow - Submit for approval	Author of the page submits draft web pages, to have it approved (or rejected) by an editor. If configured, editor gets mail notifications of submitted web pages. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
Workflow - Approve	Editor approves submitted web pages, to have it published by a publisher. If configured, publisher gets mail notifications of approved web pages. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
Workflow - Reject	Editor rejects submitted web pages, to have modified by the author. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
Workflow - Publish	Publisher publishes approved web pages. The web page is now visible for everyone with read acccess.
Workflow - Back to draft	Publisher returns published web pages to the author for further modifications. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
Workflow - Withdraw	Publisher returns published web pages to be put on a hold. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
Workflow - Archive	Publisher archives published web pages. For more information on the publishing cycle of a web page, click here.
