Shazzoo not only offers you a solid fundament to do web content management. It's also accompanied with a attractive interface that appears very simple but covers all your needs.

The Shazzoo interface provides you the sections pane on the left side and the view pane on the right side.
The sections pane includes following sections:
Site content Manage your web pages, images, flash files, attachments, data sources, reusable content and stationeries.
Site navigation Manage the navigation of your website. Shazzoo supports multi-level site navigation.
Search Perform simple and advanced searches. You can store searches for reuse.
Admin Provides you log info, settings, user and group management, template configuration and a view of all documents in your web content manager.
Recycle bin All deleted documents are moved to the recycle bin. You can delete them permanently or restore them.
Preview site Previews your site in publishing mode in a new browser window.
The view pane displays the current view. The view can display a collection of web pages, files, data sources, menu items etc..
Most view columns are sortable both descending and ascending.
Above the view an action bar displays actions related to the current view. We distinguish actions that:
Are enabled permanently
Are enabled if one document has been selected
Are enabled if at least one document has been selected
Below the view action bar there is a search bar through which web pages can be searched quickly. Just enter the first character of the title your searching for and press enter.
Selection of documents in a view works very similar to selection of files in MS Explorer of a MS operating system.
You can open a web page from a view by:
Clicking once on the title
Double click somewhere outside the title
Select the web page and click on the view action Edit
Web pages appear in a seperate tab. You can have multiple web pages open at the same time. Switch from one to another web page by clicking on the applicable tab or by pressing CTRL > or CTRL < on your keyboard. The Home tab represents the sections and view pane and cannot disappear from screen.

Search for documents in views
Search for documents in views
The page views, library views, reusable content views, the console, all document view and recycle bin contain a search bar like in the screenshot below:
Views with a search bar can be configured in the settings document to display only a maximum set of documents.
Searching documents in a view is easy. Just enter the first characters of the title you are searching for and press enter. If the view is sorted on a specific column, the search will be based on that column.
At the end of the search bar you see how many documents the view contains and which of those are displayed. In the example we see the view contains 125 documents, all are displayed. Another indication could for example be 20-69 of 379.

Selecting web pages in a view is easy. It's very similar to the selection of files in MS Explorer.

There are following alternatives to edit a document in Shazzoo:
Select the document and click on the view action Edit.
Every document has an underlined value in one of the columns. Click once on this value.
Every document has an underlined value in one of the columns. Double-click OUTSIDE this value.
After changing properties or content, save the document with the form action Save - Save and close. The view is refreshed and changes are directly visible.

Many view columns include a sort icon. This sort icon has three different states:

You can collapse all categories of a categorized view with the view action Collapse. You can expand all categories of a categorized view with the view action Expand.
To collapse a single category click on the minus icon in front of the category. To expand a single category click on the plus icon in front of the category.
The system always returns to the state of the view (what categories are collapsed and what are expanded). So if you save a document or leave the view and return afterwards, the view will be displayed in the most recent state.

Edit multiple pages at once and copy content from one to another web page is easy. Shazzoo comes with a multiple tab interface. Each web page you open for editing, is opened in a seperate tab.

Change properties for multiple documents
It's easy to change multiple properties for multiple documents with one action (i.e. you want to set a new end date for all your published web pages). You don't have to open, change and save all documents one by one.
Select the documents for which you want to set specific values for specific properties.
Select the view action Change - Values.
A dialog appears with all properties (divided in tabs) that can be modified in a batch.
Choose the languages you want to change the properties for.
Perform your modifications an click Ok.
The changes are directly visible in the view.
For textfields and multi-value fields you set a specific action. We define following actions:
Append Applicable only for multi-value fields (i.e. tags of a web page). Appends a new value to the current list of values.
Replace Replaces the current value(s) with the new value(s).
Clear field Clears the current value.
Remove Applicable only for multi-value fields (i.e. tags of a web page). Removes a specific value from the current list of values.
No changes Default for all properties. Indicates that nothing will change for the applicable attribute. However if you fill in a value and leave the action to No changes, it will be handled as Replace.

Inserting components is easy. Just focus the cursor at the position where you want to insert the component and click on the right mouse button. A context menu appears from which you can select the component you want to insert in your web page.

Click with your right mouse button somewhere on the component you want to delete. A context menu appears. Click on the option Delete to delete the applicable component.

Click with your right mouse button somewhere on the component you want to copy. A context menu appears. Click on the option Copy to copy the applicable component to your clipboard. Now position the cursor on the spot where you want to paste the component. Again click with the right mouse button and click the option Paste from the context menu. The component including all its properties and content is now inserted at the desired position.
