Because web pages open in the web editor by default, the properties are hidden on first notice. Navigate to the properties by clicking the form action Properties/Editor. This action switches between web editor and properties and vice versa.

Control identifier of web pagesEach web page has an identifier that is used in the URL. This identifier can be important for Google search rankings.
You can control the identifier as long as the page is not saved. Once saved, the identifier cannot be changed anymore.
To control the identifier of a web page:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Click on the view action New - Page.
- Fill in a title for your new web page and click Ok.
- The new page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Notice the property Identifier, it's empty.
- Click on the button Calculate webaddress.
- Notice the property Identifier is filled now based on the title of the web page.
- Notice the property Web address contains the identifier.
- The properties Identifier prefix and Identifier suffix can be included. The prefix and suffix are managed in the settings document.
- Change the identifier manualy and click on the button Calculate webaddress.
- Notice the property Web address contains the new identifier.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- You see the new web page in the view.
- Open the page.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Notice that the property Web address cannot be changed anymore and the button Calculate webaddress has disappeared.

Control language of web pages
Control language of web pagesEach web page has a language code that is used in the URL.
You can control the language code as long as the page is not saved. Once saved, the language code cannot be changed anymore.
To control the language code of a web page:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Click on the view action New - Page.
- Fill in a title for your new web page and click Ok.
- The new page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Notice the property Language. It has a default value. This is the language code that is configured as display language in the settings document. This setting changes also if the view action Switch language is triggered.
- Change the property language.
- Click on the button Calculate webaddress.
- Notice the property Web address contains the selected language code.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- Click on the view action Switch language and select the applicable language.
- The new web page is displayed in the view depending on the number of documents that are displayed.
- Open the page.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Notice that the property Language cannot be changed anymore and the button Calculate webaddress has disappeared.
Change title of web pages
Change title of web pagesYou can change the title of your web pages anytime.
The title is used in views and page selection lists.
Also you can insert the title in the content of your web page at any position you prefer. Click here for more information on that.

- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Change the title.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.

Categorize web pagesYou can categorize pages within your site navigation. You can create site navigation without publishing it, only to categorize pages.
To categorize web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Related menu item click on the button Select menu item.
- Select the menu item you want to categorize your web page to and click Ok.
- Notice the name of the selected menu item in the controlled field.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- You see the web page in the view categorized under the selected menu item.
Include web pages in lists
Include web pages in listsYou can add web pages to one or more lists (i.e. a list of newsitem) and use a seperate web page to display that list.
To add web pages to a list:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Include in these lists enter the name of the list or click on the button Append to select from existing lists.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- To display the list that contains this web page, you create another web page and insert the list over there. For more information on inserting lists in web pages, click here.
- Notice that only published pages will appear in the list.

Include identifying web page image for display in listsSome list formats display an image related to the web page. This identifying image can be set a a propery of the web page.
To include an identifying image to web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Page image click on the button Select and select an image from the library or upload a new image.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- To display the list that contains this web page, you create another web page and insert the list over there. For more information on inserting lists in web pages, click here.
- Notice that only published pages will appear in the list.
Tag web pages
Tag web pagesWeb pages can be added to dynamic lists. You can control these lists with a tag cloud. To do that you have to tag web pages that are displayed in the list.
To tag web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Tags fill in one or more tags or click on the button Append to select one or more existing tags.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
- To display the list that contains this web page, you create another web page and insert the list over there. For more information on inserting lists in web pages, click here.
- Notice that only published pages will appear in the list.
Control publication date of your content
Control publication date of your contentEach web page has a publication date. This publication date is displayed on several spots on your website (i.e. dynamic lists, page properties). By default the creation date is used, but you can change that.
To control the publication date of web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Publication date fill in a date or click on the button Select to select a date via a date picker.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.

Control content owner of your contentOptionally each web page has a content owner. This content owner is displayed on several spots on your website (i.e. dynamic lists, page properties).
To control the content owner of web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- At the property Content owner fill in the name of the content owner or click on the button Select to select a person from the address book.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.

Control online period of web pagesYou can control the period a web page is published. After that the web page will automatically be archived.
To control the online period of web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Properties - Online period.
- At the property Online period select Specify to have an online period or select Always to have the web page published forever.
- Specify the Start date and End date in case you've choosen for an online period.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.
The default online period values for new web pages can be configured in the settings document.

Restrict visibility of web pageBy default published web pages are visible for all visitors of your web site. You can however restrict read access to a limited group.
To limit read access for web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Properties - Security.
- At the property Access select Publish for selected groups.
- At the property Access groups select the groups you want to grant read access.
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.

Control Google search meta tags for web pagesYou can control the web title, meta description an meta keywords for each individual web page.
To control Google search data for web pages:
- Navigate in the section Site content to the sub section Pages.
- Open the applicable web page.
- The web page opens in the web editor.
- Click on the form action Properties/Editor.
- Click on the tab Properties - Google search.
- Fill in the Web title, Meta description and Meta keywords.
- Fill in the properties for sitemap.xml and robots.txt (Index, Follow links, Sitemap.xml, Change frequency and Sitemap.xml priority).
- Click on the form action Save - Save and close.

- Select the web pages for which you want to change the status.
- Select the view action Change - Status.
- A dialog appears in which you can select the new status.

- The changes are directly visible in the view.
